REMODELING SERVICES

Our expertise ensures you get the remodel of your dreams, while our experience ensures a smooth progression from project conception to project completion. Here is a detailed look at the services we provide during a remodeling project.

PHASE ONE: INTERIOR CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

In this phase we gather information about your project, develop concepts, and present the concepts to you.

Information Gathering: We visit your home and collect all the needed information for the scope of the project. We measure, take pictures, and talk to you about your dreams and desires for the project.

Concept Development: After meeting with you, we develop concepts to meet your goals and budget. We plan the space, select materials and finishes to recommend, render drawings, and prepare a presentation to show you the concepts.

Presentation of Concepts: We meet with you to present concepts for the project. This includes computer drafted 2D and 3D plans, hand sketches, color and finish samples, and material samples. You keep the concept materials and samples to review further and think about over the next two weeks.

Follow Up: Two weeks after the concepts are presented, we meet with you again to hear your feedback and discuss any needed changes. We discuss the next steps and move into phase two of the planning process.

PHASE TWO: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

In this phase, we develop the project concepts into a set of project documents with associated costs.

Trade Day: We visit your home along with all the subcontractors for your project. You get to meet the subcontractors and they take the opportunity to review the project space in order to provide a detailed written quote for services.

Construction Cost Meeting: About three weeks after Trade Day, we meet at the Mojo Home Interiors studio to present the construction costs for the project. We also review design hours at this meeting and collect down payment to begin phase three.

PHASE THREE: FINALIZING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

In this phase, we finalize the drawings, materials, and all specifications for construction.

Material Selection: We plan two or three meetings with you to finalize material selections for your project. The meetings take place at the Mojo Home Interiors studio or at vendor showrooms. With our guidance, and based on your project needs, you will select lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, cabinets, countertops, paint colors, flooring, trim, doors, windows, backsplashes, wallpaper, and window coverings.

Finalize Construction Documents: Mojo Home Interiors finalizes the drawings and specifications for construction, which includes plans for demolition and detailed installation and remodeling plans. Once the documents are complete, the project is ready to proceed to the construction phase.
